Chapter 14

They took advantage of the quiet flight home to rest their minds with sleep. Although the negative combinations of words of Murphy’s Law had been working overtime everywhere on the planet, their trip had been perfect. There was no getting lost, bad weather, bad meals or missing or delayed luggage. It wasn’t just that nothing had gone wrong or that everything went as well as it possibly could. He realized that it was how he felt and how he was experiencing everything that made it feel beyond perfect. He thought about the life before his Dark Night, the things that went right that he took for granted. How what he was going through now felt like it was all about survival.

The dark night in his soul was intense emotional pain from things not going well and the instant replays in his mind that would haunt him for the days. He had been struggling so hard to make things work for his jobs, locating materials, shipments misdelivered, people changing their minds because of their pain. There was so much time being wasted just to stay afloat, repairing what broke, redoing mistakes, replacing things that were damaged or lost, dealing with problems he’d never had before. He learned how crazy and impossible life can become and he knew what it meant to want to give up. But here was the end of that life. Being with Dahlia was like the parting of the Red Sea of everything going wrong that could go wrong. Jonathan knew it was because she was done with her allotted portion of those negative combinations of words and now everything was going right for her. It was like magic, but it wasn’t magic. It was how her mind moved her surroundings. Dahlia was the first to have a fully evolved, highly technologically advanced mind. What he was witnessing was the first phase of everything going right, a life of positive combinations of words that would be going on forever.

They found the car and set their bags in the trunk. As Jonathan drove he glanced over at Dahlia who was gazing at her book, her fingers aimlessly flipping pages back and forth.

“Dahlia, who were you in your past?”

Her eyes shifted to the front window as she was reminded of where she was. “There has been a lot of controversy over me. There are two Mahlanas. Mahlana, the sister of Marna, who was always waiting for Jadahl to come to their town and would spent so much time with him, was also the Mahlana who was one of the scorned women men would bought pleasure from them.. The descending translations of the religious books, through time, messed that one up because they thought they were two separate women.”

“What do you remember about your previous life Dahlia?”

Dahlia had one thing that had really stuck in her mind. “I was very introspective. I liked being by myself to think. It’s those negative combinations of words flooding out minds that evolve them. Thinking and thinking and feeling what we are thinking. It’s exhausting having to process our portion of these words. A miserable process but what our minds can do as a result of it is so amazing that it gets us through. I started some of the work as Mahlana but you couldn’t get very far on the stage that we lived on 2000 years ago. I had a cave that was my special place that I would go to think about things. I was also very much in love with Jahahl and I would sit in the sand near the edge of the lake waiting for him for hours. Learning about this explained my love affair with the ocean that I have now and the intensity of the longing that I lived with for so many years. When Jahahl was in town a lot of people would come to our home. One time when Jahahl was there and I was sitting at his knees and my sister started complaining about how I wasn’t helping her with all the work that needed to be done. He said to her ‘Mahlana is doing the most important thing a person can do and the reward can never be taken away.'”

Jonathan knew of the story well but never understood it. “What did it mean?”

“There have been as many interpretations as there are people who have read His words. In the end there is one fully evolved interpretation for all. While on this side of Enchantra, the negative combinations of words are coming into people and giving them a life that is not real. The one who lives a nice life and the one who lives the unpleasant life are not doing anything different to make their lives what they are. Their two lives, one good and one not easily, are equally perilous, can change at any moment as a new program is downloaded into them. I waited for Jadahl to return for the rest of my life. In your dark night you become very aware that you are waiting for Tahl to insert the disk and get you out of the hole. The enchanted life outside the other side of a Night can’t go downwards and is the first step to integrating with the Fountain of positive combinations of words. I hit bottom and I can only go up now. It’s an organic matter. All that my being can process now are these positive energy combinations, so like Jahahl told my sister, it can’t be taken from me. The opposite of everything that went wrong for me began a few months ago. No more struggling and waste. It’s all easy and efficient.”

Jonathan was very encouraged by her words. “Whatever you’re doing, I know I’m part of it and will be able to enjoy your positive words coming in.”

“I will be an umbrella for anyone who works with me. It’s starting with the movie. The people who were supposedly the religious experts about who Tahl is became enemies of his great teacher Jadahl and killed him when he was teaching the more evolved truth. So this time the ‘truth,’ which will be the real truth because we have the minds now to understand it and because the incorrect combinations of words will be used up, will come a different way. People loved the stories Jadahl told. They loved everything he did but it all got crazy somehow just like it always does around the higher beings, the great teachers. Tahl can say whatever he wants through a writer and director of something ‘make believe’ and he can get it into the minds of a lot more people than He could through a man who talks on a TV show or something. The movie is almost ready to be released. They have just finished building a foreshadow of the Palace of the Nine in miniature. It is the last of the shots they need. The world is going to love the story. But the Tahl experts won’t, just like the religious leaders in Jadahl’s time.

“Do you think the Global Council will try to get it pulled from the theaters?”

“I thought about it and it seems like anything like that would end up a huge advertisement and backfire on them. It would get everyone talking and there would be a lot of interviews and discussions in the media. People would end up running to the theaters faster. Actually, I wouldn’t be surprised if Tahl did that. If the Tahl experts get involved, they would look like idiots. If they attack the movie like they attack another religions, they are going to cause people to look at the teachings in the movie as a possibility, something possibly real that the movie was only portraying as make-believe. The media has always had hidden glimpses of truth that’s never been much of a threat. When Jadahl came, the Roman roads lead everywhere and everyone knew the Greek language, making the world ready for the spread of Jadahls’s higher teachings. This time it’s the internet and the media and the make-believe world of the artists. It’s a brilliant strategy that has been building up for a long time. The movie is a Trojan Horse.”

“Things could get tough for you.”

“Yes and no, my personal worst is behind me. Now I can concentrate on the world’s Night. I will have a huge team of followers to train. They will train each group as they enter the Night in shifts. Eventually everyone is going to be so connected to the central pain of Tahl’s being, they won’t be able to pull down strings of negative combinations of words that turn against the truth like they did with Jadahl. They will be up against the force of pain they can’t stop, a force that forces all men to stop everything and listen to Tahl. The fully evolved truth books will be written by everyone beginning with what is taught in the movie and adding the rest that will be coming out and the billions of different personal expressions of it. The words will be spreading wildly over the internet to a desperate world.

“At the same time we would be busy behind the scenes locating the property after the ice melts off of it and begin building the Palace of the Nine. I will continue seeing what is ahead to keep it all going. You mentioned the holographic windows. It will be a holographic world, everyday everything changes except the Palace itself. One day there are pansies in the yard, the next they’ve changed to daisies. Your BMW becomes a Porsche. The sky blue water in the fountains and streams becomes aqua. Some new food concept is featured because the plants in the vegetable gardens changed. Your clothes, your body, your talents everything changes for your pleasure.”

“Jonathan, I think we both need to rest. I had a good time. I hope you did too.”

He appeared to be looking around for the words. “It was a…uh… There’s no word for this,” he mumbled as he stepped outside the door. Thank you, Dahlia. Can I call you in the morning? Can we meet for tea?”

Dahlia checked the time on her watch. “I have to call the producer and director tonight and see where they are at. If you like, you can go on location with me. I’ll know what’s up tomorrow. Would 9:30 work for you?”

“That would be great.” Jonathan said as he began stepping down the stairs.

He was about to turn the corner as Dahlia passed along a message. “And you don’t have to worry about
Mrs. Abbey. She’s conveniently been too sick to leave the house this week and doesn’t know about me and what we’ve been up to.

A puzzled and inquisitive look simultaneously appeared on Jonathan’s face and merged together as he asked her, “How do you know that?”
